INDUSTRIAL CLERK

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM YOUR APPRENTICESHIP:
- Duration of apprenticeship: 2.5 years
- You will spend one and a half days a week at the vocational college in Lahr, where the theoretical part of your training will take place
- This will include studying European business administration and economics
- You will be expected to have proficiency in two foreign languages: English, plus French or Spanish
- You will rotate through the relevant areas of the company, actively engaging with departments such as sales & marketing, logistics, finance, procurement and machine shipping
- You will carry out in-depth projects both individually and as part of a group
- You will do a two-month internship at one of our European market organisations outside Germany
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING TO THE ROLE:
- An interest in understanding business processes and economic systems
- Strong learning abilities and systems thinking skills
- Organisational skills and creativity
- A passion for working independently
- The ability to work in a team, communicate effectively, and take the initiative
- Ideally, you will already have completed an internship in a commercial/business field
- Proficiency in English and another foreign language (French or Spanish) is essential
- You will also have obtained your higher education entrance qualification (A-levels or equivalent) or advanced technical college entrance qualification

HOW YOUR CAREER CAN PROGRESS
If you’re keen to continue down this path after completing your apprenticeship, there are plenty of options available:
International assignments across all sales & service branches are available to you. You could pursue further training and development opportunities in specific areas of the company such as sales, finance or purchasing. There is also the possibility of taking specific courses and seminars to obtain qualifications in areas such as business administration, for example.
