Have you gone past the stage of wanting to be an astronaut or a vet? Perhaps you're wondering what else is out there, but you'd like a concrete idea of what's right for you. A work placement is a great way to gain an insight into the world of work while you're still at school.
At MEIKO, we pride ourselves on helping school pupils gain greater clarity about their career choices. We offer the chance to spend one or two weeks on a placement with us, getting a feel for the day-to-day life of working for a company. After all, you won't know what it's like until you try it!
Unfortunately, we don't offer placements in our administration or engineering departments, but our production department offers all sorts of options for a variety of vocations. In the logistics field, we offer work placements as warehouse specialists (m/f/x), and if you're interested in information technology, you might enjoy a placement as an IT specialist (m/f/x).

Apprenticeships should be fun – but the salary and benefits matter, too.
How does this sound? A pay rate of 1,000 euros in your first apprenticeship year, plus holiday pay, Christmas bonus, travel allowances, retirement contributions, cash rewards for outstanding performance, exciting trips and excursions, apprentice events, trade fair visits, and subsidies for meals at our company restaurant. Pretty good, right? And there’s more! Your journey with MEIKO doesn’t come to an end when you finish your apprenticeship. A one-year contract is almost guaranteed, and our permanent hire rate is impressively high. Once you’re part of MEIKO, we like to keep it that way!

At the core of our technical apprenticeship for the trades is our state-of-the-art training workshop. Here, we embrace cutting-edge technology to provide an unparalleled learning experience. Our apprentices work with advanced machinery that enables hands-on training in all the necessary technical and vocational skills. From day one, experienced instructors guide our apprentices through every step of the process.
