An all-rounder with a good eye for the big picture
A company is a fascinating organism in which multiple departments and areas of expertise combine into a single unit. As an industrial clerk you will support our business processes with your business management know-how – from order acquisition to sales and service. With plenty of insight and a good eye for the big picture, you will help make MEIKO stronger with your commitment and expertise.
WHAT TO EXPECT FROM YOUR APPRENTICESHIP:
- Duration of apprenticeship: 3 years
- You will spend one and a half days a week at the vocational college in Hausach, where the theoretical part of your training will take place
- This will include studying European business administration and economics
- You will rotate through the relevant areas of the company and actively engage with sales and marketing, finance, logistics, finance, purchasing and machine shipping
- You will carry out in-depth projects both individually and as part of a group
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING TO THE ROLE:
- An interest in understanding business processes and economic systems
- Strong learning abilities and systems thinking skills
- Organisational skills and creativity
- A passion for working independently
- The ability to work in a team, communicate effectively, and take the initiative
- Ideally, you will already have completed an internship in a commercial/business field
- Good secondary school leaving certificate

You could pursue further training and development opportunities in specific areas of the company such as sales, finance or purchasing. There is also the possibility of taking specific courses and seminars to obtain qualifications in areas such as business administration, for example.
