Senior Technical Engineer / Assistant Technical Manager

MEIKO Clean Solutions Singapore PTE. Ltd. is a subsidiary of the German MEIKO Group, a world-leading manufacturer of commercial glass and dishwashers as well as washer-disinfectors for hospitals and care homes. The product portfolio also includes food waste treatment systems.

We are looking for a hands-on and service-oriented Senior Technical Engineer / Assistant Technical Manager to support our technical operations in the food service equipment industry. The ideal candidate will have solid experience with commercial kitchen equipment and be capable of providing technical support, coordinating service jobs, and delivering training to partners, dealers, and end-users.

About your role:

• Assist in installation, testing, commissioning, and servicing of food service equipment.
• Provide first-line technical support to customers, partners, and internal teams.
• Conduct training sessions for dealers, service partners, and end-users on proper equipment use and basic maintenance.
• Coordinate with service partners and technicians for scheduled maintenance and urgent repair works.
• Support in preparing service reports, maintenance records, and troubleshooting documentation.
• Monitor equipment performance and assist in preventive maintenance planning.
• Maintain good relationships with clients and ensure high customer satisfaction through responsive service.
• Work closely with the sales and operations teams to support product demos, site inspections, and technical clarifications.
• Liaise with manufacturers for product updates, warranty matters, and technical support.
• Assist in managing spare parts inventory and logistics.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• 3–5 years of technical service experience, preferably in the food service equipment or related industry.
• Hands-on experience with installation, repair, and maintenance of commercial kitchen equipment.
• Good communication skills, with the ability to conduct training and explain technical matters clearly.
• Willingness to travel locally for on-site service and training.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
